Merle Fellows, Parts Specialist
No two days are ever the same for Merle, who has been a part of the Iron Bear Trailer family for a decade. In addition to manning the parts counter, he also turns drums and rotors, builds and services axles, and helps customers find just what they need. He enjoys the challenge that comes with never knowing exactly who will be coming through the door. More importantly, he enjoys reassuring those customers that Iron Bear Trailer will solve their problems and get them in and out quickly. After hours, Merle goes hiking and mountain biking, and enjoys attending church and fellowshipping with others.
Josh Kirchner, Service Technician
Josh joined Iron Bear Trailer after graduating from Wyotech in Long Beach, California. As a member of our team of top mechanics, he completes a variety of trailer work, including servicing, building and replacing axles, completing work on undercarriages and suspension, and fabricating needed components. He enjoys being able to work independently, solve problems, and see the results of his work.
Gene McAndrews, Service Technician
One of the things Gene enjoys most about his work at Iron Bear Trailer is the variety of tasks he is called on to complete. He specializes in hydraulic brakes, leads our 5S Lean initiatives, and even fills in at the parts counter. Gene worked in the automotive industry for over 30 years, including as an operations manager for a manufacturing plant focused on rebuilding calipers and CV axles, shoes and pads. His background leads him to appreciate our company’s attention to detail, quality of work and level of customer service. When he’s not working in our shop, Gene likes to go fishing and spend time with his grandson.
Larry Scott, Service Technician
Larry takes pride in knowing the work he produces allows our customers to go down the road safely. Before joining Iron Bear Trailer, he worked as a diesel trailer mechanic, and he has earned multiple welding certifications, including ARC, MIG, TIG, Oxyacetelen, and blueprints. He puts his knowledge to use daily as he works on trailers, completes fabrication projects and makes sure every project is done right. Outside of work, Larry builds metal art pieces, enjoys a good book and likes to go shooting.
Brian Jensen, Service Technician
They say that the only constant is change, and for Brian, that’s one of the things he loves most about his work at Iron Bear Trailer. Every day brings a new challenge to solve and opportunities to learn.Brian is a troubleshooter, able to identify trailer issues, make needed repairs and complete the testing necessary to make sure that everything is working well and safe to go back out on the road. Like the Iron Bear team, he takes pride in his works and does everything possible to get the job done right the first time. Outside of the shop, he likes to get out doors, hiking, fishing, backpacking and spending time with his kids and family.
Jared Tromp, Parts Specialist
Jared came to Iron Bear Trailer from the RV industry, and quickly came to thrive in the fast-paced environment. He takes pride in exceeding customers’ expectations, and loves being able to find a part when others can’t.He appreciates the personalized attention he is able to give our customers as well as the feedback he receives from them. After hours and on weekends, Jared stays busy participating in motorsports and having a great time with his three-year-old daughter.
John McFalls, Shipping & Receiving Specialist
At Iron Bear Trailer, John has successfully combined his career experience in inventory management and control with his fascination with cars, which he worked on his dad when he was growing up.A husband and father of three, John plays a critical role in receiving and controlling all of the inventory that comes into our company and ensures that we have an accurate count of all of the parts we can offer our clients. He says that what he enjoys most about his job are the people he works with, and also appreciates the depth of knowledge and commitment to problem solving the company offers.
Roy Olsen, Parts Specialist
With nearly three decades in the automotive industry parts, service and repair industry, Roy is confident that if he doesn’t have a part on hand, he can find it. He has been a part of the Iron Bear Trailer team since 2004 and has gained a reputation for being able to deliver excellent service to our customers. Roy is an avid fisherman, and loves to go duck and goose hunting whenever time allows.
Tony Parker, Parts Specialist
Tony’s goal as a parts specialist is to make sure every customer leaves our shop with the parts they need and a smile on their face. Entrepreneurial in spirt, Tony brought a variety of skills with him, including retail sales as well as extensive customer service and support gained from his work with IBM. He appreciates the customers he has the chance to serve as well as the crew he works with daily. Tony, who enjoys doing martial arts, is a Colorado transplant who loves heading out hiking, camera in hand, to get to know the Centennial State.
